About BITNETICA
"Bits" are the smallest units of data, represented as either a 0 or a 1 in computer logic.
"NET" stands for "Network," which can refer to computer networks, human networks, or simply the act of networking.
"ETICA" stands for Ethics, Trust, Integrity, and high standards.
"ICA" is interestingly the name of a Citrix connection file, also known as a .ica file.

We love that IT (Information Technology) appears twice in BITNETICA—once from left to right and once from right to left as "TI."

Additionally, the domain name bitnetica.com was available, and Abe Garcia, our founder, instantly loved it for his new company. It felt like fate, so there it is.

About the BITNETICA LOGO
The three smaller squares in our logo represent "Bits," all interconnected, including the two large squares. The bottom large square forms the base upon which everything else stands, while the orange square—meant to stand out—represents excellence and prominence.
